Maine Woodland Owners provides many opportunities for woodland owners and stewards to learn, contribute, advocate, and connect. We offer workshops, meetings, information booths, and presentations to engage our members and the public around good woodland management practices and the latest information about forest health.
In Person Field Programs
COVID-19 Safety Protocol Update: Maine Woodland Owners will not require masks at any outdoor events, however, participants who want to wear one during a program are encouraged to do so.
Program fees: Unless otherwise noted, events are free for members and a $10 donation is requested for non-members.
Virtual Forestry Info Sessions:
Presentations will be held on the video conference service Zoom. Sessions are free for members and a $10/per session donation is requested for non-members. All programs are recorded and are posted on our Videos page, as well as, our Members page.

Join Tom Doak, Executive Director, for this online program to hear about the activity at the Maine Legislature that effect woodland owners. Tom will discuss the various proposed bills of interest that are certain to make their way through the legislature, and others that are being discussed. Bring your questions.
