Maine Woodland Owners provides many opportunities for woodland owners and stewards to learn, contribute, advocate, and connect. We offer workshops, meetings, information booths, and presentations to engage our members and the public around good woodland management practices and the latest information about forest health.

COVID-19 Safety Protocol Update: Maine Woodland Owners will not require masks at any outdoor events, however, participants who want to wear one during a program are encouraged to do so.
Program fees: Unless otherwise noted, events are free for members and a $10 donation is requested for non-members.

Conducted by retired IRS forester, Jim Norris, this workshop will cover federal timber tax information focusing primarily on reporting gain/loss from the sale of timber and forest products.
